The Schmidt Physical Therapy clinics are tailored to provide safe and effective physical therapy services as we endure the COVID-19 global pandemic.

To limit COVID-19 exposure, we have implemented the following policies alongside European Face and Body Studio's COVID-19 protocol:

  • All patients must wear appropriate face masks and follow standard handwashing and sanitizing routines upon arrival to protect other patients and our staff

  • We request that you arrive exactly at your appointment time to minimize waiting room time and contact with other patients

  • We provide treatment in private rooms sanitized to the best of our ability

  • The staff uses Plexiglas shields, face shields, gloves, and face masks for protection

  • Our exercise protocol can be performed in the safety of your home with minimal equipment

  • We ask that our patients let us know as soon as possible if there is anything more that we can do to make them feel more comfortable during their treatment

Our Philosophy

Here at Schmidt Physical Therapy, we try our best to accommodate every patient. We include your input in your treatment approach, we encourage feedback from our patients, and we welcome feedback from referring doctors.

Further, we remain in contact with your referring physician for the duration of the treatment to promote your health and recovery.

The emphasis of our approach is to identify and treat the source of your dysfunction with gentle techniques. We do not believe in the "no pain, no gain" approach, and will stop and alter the treatment accordingly if you feel any type of pain. We only believe in rehabilitation in a gentle and painless manner.

Schmidt Physical Therapy has an emphasis on gentle hands-on techniques, including, but not limited to:

  • Neuromusculoskeletal assessments

  • Sports-specific assessments

  • Orthopedic manual physical therapy

  • Specific joint mobilizations and manipulations

  • Exercises utilizing functional and sports specific protocols (CAFS)

  • TaiChi for rehabilitation routine

  • Soft tissue techniques

  • Myofascial, neuromuscular and strain-counter-strain techniques

  • Dry needling

Some of the types of medical issues we treat include, but are not limited to:

  • Neck, mid-back and low back injuries

  • Sports-and work-specific injuries

  • Post-surgical rehabilitation

  • Shoulder, elbow, hand, hip, knee and foot dysfunction

  • TMJ dysfunction

  • Vertigo

We promote a healthy lifestyle as indicated by our utilization of independent exercise programs that you can perform safely in the comfort of your house without expensive equipment during and following our physical therapy protocol.

In addition, we offer a wellness program consisting of personal training and massage therapy on a self-pay basis.

We support many community activities and donate time in several projects to benefit the elderly, children, and student athletes.
